Founder's Profile
I’m Gunjan Joshi, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (RCI Registered) with over a decade of experience working across clinical, hospital, academic, and independent practice settings. My work is rooted in a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach, integrating modalities such as CBT, DBT-informed interventions, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.
Over the years, I have worked with individuals navigating anxiety, mood concerns, trauma, relationship difficulties, and emotional regulation challenges. I believe therapy is not just about symptom reduction, but about creating a deeper understanding of oneself, building emotional resilience, and fostering meaningful, lasting change.
I prioritise quality over quantity in my practice. Therapy, for me, is about depth, effectiveness, and thoughtful engagement—not just conducting sessions. To maintain this standard and offer each client the attention they deserve, I intentionally work with a limited number of sessions each day.
At Unwinding Minds, my intention is to offer a space that feels safe, thoughtful, and non-judgmental—where you can slow down, reflect, and work through your experiences at your own pace, with structure and support. As part of this experience, you are also welcome to spend time with my therapy dog—BENZO (an optional), gentle addition that can help create comfort, ease, and a sense of emotional warmth.
